Gifted Advisory Committee

The Frederick County Public Schools Gifted Advisory Committee is a group of parents, school personnel and other community members appointed by the School Board to review the local plan for the education of gifted students on an annual basis, including making revisions, and to determine and evaluate the extent to which the previous year's plan was implemented. The Advisory Committee meets quarterly and meetings are open to the public. Revisions to the local plan and the findings of the program's effectiveness are submitted in writing each year to the Superintendent and the School Board.
