2020 Best Schools Niche
FCPS Ranks Among Top Virginia School Districts

For the third consecutive year, Frederick County Public Schools ranks among the top school districts in Virginia on the Niche list of Best School Districts in Virginia. The 2020 Niche list ranks FCPS 34th out of Virginia’s 132 school divisions. FCPS is ranked 10th on the list of Districts with the Best Teachers in Virginia and is number 18 on the list of Best Places to Teach in Virginia.

FCPS Receives Award for Work-based Learning Program

Frederick County Public Schools was one of nine school divisions to receive an award in the Virginia School Boards Association (VSBA) Excellence in Workforce Readiness Awards. The FCPS Work-based Learning Program won second place in divisions with student populations above 10,001. The awards program highlights exemplary programs in Virginia's public schools focused on preparing the future workforce.
